[Accidental Video]
[There's a clattering sound and the camera comes on from next to the edge of a sheet on the floor of a hospital room. A pair of feet paused mid-stride can be seen nearby, pointing away from the camera.]
Nu! [The feet shift slightly as if their owner is about to turn around, then return to their previous position and take a careful step.] Whatever. Once more and then a break.
[The owner of the feet carefully walks to the far side of the room and back again. Their left leg is obviously recovering from some injury. Once they reach the camera, a right hand with what looks like a green stone embedded in the palm reaches down and picks it up. There's a brief shot of Jio's face as the camera swings around the room before it's left pointing at the wall behind the lamp on a bedside table. The creak of the bed and some exhausted breathing can be heard faintly in the background for a while before the camera shuts off.]

How about this, We'll be up in a minute to check your vitals. If you're good and are in bed when we get there, we'll go for a walk through the garden, nice and easy and slow. And we'll bring a wheelchair for you to rest in when your legs get sore.

[He'll be waiting and pouting in his bed when they come up. His arm's still in a sling, since the break was pretty major, while his leg was "only" badly dislocated.]

Here we are. Are you ready to go? We'll have a nice peaceful walk.
no subject
Okay.
[He hops out of bed, doing a very good job of not wobbling too much as he suddenly puts weight on his leg.]
Let's get goin' then.

Have you made any friends over the network yet?
It's a good way to pass the time.
no subject
No. It's weird talkin' to people when they aren't in front of you. I've jus' been readin' some "Welcome to the Digital World" books an' figurin' out how to use everythin' on these thin's. Whoever wrote the tutorials on the D-Reader did a shitty job.

Well you'll be out soon enough, but it would make things a little easier if you met someone you could get along with. Someone who wouldn't mind showing you around.
If you don't find anyone, I'll do it.
W-what?! I mean...yes...of coarse. Anything to help.
[Adroea is so helpful for someone only wearing a thing white dress and wrapped like a mummy]

I can make it fine on my own.
[He mentally kicks himself for coming back to that lie, but he has no intention of taking it back right now. He's still a little uncomfortable with her, since the last person he met that was bandaged like that was bat-shit insane and enjoyed killing people that annoyed him.]

We just want to make sure that we don't see you in a professional setting again anytime soon. A boy like you should be having fun not stuck in a stuffy old hospital.
There's much to do in this world.
A variable wonderland of magic and um...wonder. Like the cookie tree. Do you like cookies?

A cookie tree?

Where we come from such things may be impossible, but in the Digital world you can find any kind of food you like growing on a tree if you look hard enough.

[Jio looks slightly disgusted for a moment before he resumes walking.]
I figured I could skip the parts about what kinda plants're in this place, but I guess even that's different here. Jus' like how money's different here too.
[He's silent for a moment before looking at Adorea.]
You think anyone here'd buy money from another world?
no subject
I suppose...
There are Digimon who love collecting things from other worlds, but they don't get alot because most tamers only come here with what's in their pockets...
[None too subtle glance at Adorea]
Or um...on their person.
People will pay money for anything it seems.

Oh yes, we have some pamphlets we can give you.

Makin' money won't be a problem once my arm's better though. There's always someone who needs help for a few days. All I gotta do's find 'em.
[The door to the garden's in view now. Jio manages to pick up the pace slightly now that he sees how close he is.]

It's nice out today.
Fall is coming soon though. Soon all this nice sunshine will be gone and we'll have chilly winds again.
Tetha has a beautiful view when the leaves begin to change.

It is. Feels good to be outside again. An' everything here's really green. Feels like forever since I've seen anything but cactuses.
